A few weeks ago I attended the Proefparade, where I left with a bag full of goodies, including a haircare set by the Austrialian brand Nak. Nak is an Australian hair company that provides hair care and products, for professional as well as consumers and the brand is inspired by the Australia: the environment, sun and blue skies, oceans and majestic landscapes. Sound great, right? Check out my experience and review!
My hair could really use some tender love and care, with so many split ends en dryness. I was recommended the nourishing and repl.ends line, and gave me a care package to try out and review. This pink package contains a hair conditioning boost, which did just that. You only have to apply it for a minute and wash out. It leaves the hair fresh and super soft.
Nak Nourishing shampoo and conditioner: “Replenishes lost moisture and assists in repair, whilst protecting, conditioning and adding shine” Is sulphate free and paraben free.
Benefits: Shampoo: added Marine collagen, panthenol (Vitamin B5) and Vitamin E assist in repair – improving tensile strength / gentle cleansing action / rich luxuriant lather / replenishes moisture – increases elasticity / protects colour fade.
Conditioner: intense moisturising and nutritional qualities / replenishes moisture and repairs
/ improves manageability / increases shine / minimises colour fade.
Key Ingredients: Bio-Marine Complex, Vitamin E, Panthenol (Vitamin B5).
My experience: The shampoo and conditioner combination really softens up my hair. It feels lovely, but I have found that I should avoid the top of my head, as it tends to make my hair a bit greasy. But that’s actually the case with all shampoos and conditioners for me. And a little goes a long way, so these bottles that contain 375ml of product will probably last a few months.
Benefits: Replenishes dry, damaged hair / adds moisture and shine / equalises porosity / provides thermal, mechanical and UV protection / detangles and prevents breaking, splitting or snapping.
Key Ingredients: Bio-Marine complex.
My experience: A great leave in conditioner, love to apply this to the ends of my hair. especially when my hair is a bit frizzy. I also love using this to moisture my clip in extentions. Does it prevent breaking or split ends? No, not for me..
Nak Shine Mist Conditioning Shine Spray: “A mist of condition for a halo of shine. Settles on the hair like a soft cloud. Creates an illuminating shine and lasting gloss to complete every styling session.”
Benefits: Weightless conditioning / illuminating shine / protects cuticle surface / Paraben free
Key Ingredients: Dimithecone, wightless illuminating shine molecules
My experience: I only use this spray on my hair extentions, it gives them a lovely shine when they look a little dull.
I’ve never of a Nak before I attended the Proefparade, have you ever tried any of their hair care products?
